We have been attending the festival
as artists, building structures and providing accommodation for getting
on for 10 years.
At the 1999 festival working with some very good friends we put a tipi lightshow on in the tipi field and in 2000 we put
on a smaller lightshow and tribal peoples slide show in the Field of
Avalon. Tipis are used as projection screens for these shows.
Our main input though is providing the best and most comfortable tipis
at the festival for people to hire. Based at the top end of the
Tipi Field facing due east we are ideally located.
Staying in a tipi at Glastonbury is an experience not to be missed.
Your tipi will be equiped with a full lining for privacy and exrta
security and it will have a layer of natural coir matting on the floor,
we can also supply your tipi with backrests and a fireplace. Your
Dulas Valley Tipis tipi will be bright and clean, cool and cosy.
Tipis are erected by the Wednesday before the festival starts and left
up untill Monday afternoon.
The tipi field is an excellent place to stay at the festival, although
its a quiet field there is always loads happening, a great social scene
and its not too far away from all the action.
Check the capacity of each size tipi on the tipi page on this site -
these refer to adults so if you want to accommodate small children
count two for one adult space. If you want to squeeze in a couple
of friends we don¹t mind but be careful around the fire if you do.
Your tipi is delivered to the festival and put up for you and fitted
with flooring before you arrive, all you need to bring is you creature
comforts.
We take the tipis down after you have finished with them, please leave
them nice and tidy!

ARRANGEMENT
Please book your tipi as early as possible as we have a limited number
for hire.
WOMAD
We love WOMAD. At WOMAD we
have been supplying furnished tipis and Bedouin tents to accommodate
the dedicated lighting and production crew for the past five
years. We make a special effort for them, we furnish the tents
with rugs, sheepskins, backrests and Mexican blankets. Our best
friends at Womad are the Mystic Lights Crew who light the flags and the
main stage screens.
Anyone wishing to hire tipis on the campsite are more than welcome to
contact us and make special arrangements to do this. At WOMAD the
tipis are located in a quite spot fairly close to wristband exchange
and crew and artists camping.
Tipis are supplied fully lined and floored and are delivered and
erected ready for your arrival at the festival.

We can supply very large scale tipis, tipi villages, Bedouin and Berber
tents for a full range of different events including weddings and
private parties, local authority events and themed
events. Structured environments can accommodate 400 people.
