Way
out in Gateshead
This 21¹ tipi was purchased with funding from
Children in Need to provide adventure holidays
for children. The tipi is used as a communal
social tent for the group camping in smaller
tents. We¹d like to see the kids camping
in small tipis. The children benefit
enormously from their experiences around the tipi
fire. |

Century Club
A private members club on Shaftsbury Avenue in
the west end of London now has a beautiful white
Bedouin tent roof to shelter its roof garden. The
garden is four stories high so we constructed an
aerodynamic structure based on a traditional
Bedouin Tent. We chose this design for its
elegance and its aerodynamic qualities. The
Bedouin tent roof is based on two black canvas
tension bands decorated with white diamonds to
hold up the pure white canvas roof. |
Moments
The moment is a twenty-first century playroom
powered by the wind and the sun. A 24¹ diameter
dome tent with two integral awnings, it is used
as a chill-out room at outdoor private
parties. |
