THE TIPI CAMPSITE PROJECT

Our campsite is set on the quiet wooded hillside above our venue and workshops.  We are open all year round and can accommodate groups, families and couples in three cosy tipis.

We welcome hen and stag groups, mountain bikers,  corporate groups etc if you book all three tipis.

We are located on the southern border of Snowdonia National Park, ten minutes walk from Centre for Alternative Technology.  There are some of the best cycle tracks in Wales nearby and we are 20 minutes drive from sandy beaches and 15 minutes from the famous Cadair Idris (Idris's Chair-2927 Feet) mountain walks.

Machynlleth the ancient capital of Wales is three miles away. Here you will find an interesting range of shops, restaurants and galleries.

There are two options to choose from when booking your tipi.

Option one is a basic tipi.  Inside there is an open fire place with a wrought iron cooking trivet, coir matting and rugs.  You will need to bring bedding, cooking equipment and any other camping gear that you will need.

Option two is a fully furnished tipi. In addition to what you get with option one in this tipi you will find futon beds, blankets, soft sheep skins, cushions, backrests, cooking equipment, log basket, picnic basket, candle sticks, storage baskets and a water container.  You can see images of the interior of this tipi on the interiors page of this web site.

Free firewood is supplied with both options.  There are hot showers, flushing toilets and a tumble drier on the site.

OPTION TWO £50.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT

Children under 12 years are half price, children under 3 years are free.
